Issue
How to do when Smart Construction Edge 2.0 GNSS receiving status seems to be poor.
Answer
You can check the reception status of signals from GNSS using the LEDs on the main unit.
Reception status |
Reception is good |
Reception is unstable |
Searching for satellite |
Reception not possible |
Satellite Information Receiving LED |
Blue light on |
Blue blinking |
Orange blinking |
Off |
4-way LED | Green blinking | Red blinking |
Deterioration of reception
The tablet UI displays the number of satellites that are being acquired. Even if the number of satellites is available, the signal strength required for positioning may be insufficient, in which case "poor reception" may be displayed even though the number of satellites is high.
How to deal
If the reception condition worsens, the accuracy of positioning will deteriorate, so please try following below.
- Move to a location with better signal reception.
- Wait until the signal condition improves.
