To all Smart Construction Edge2 users

We are pleased to announce the release of new features and performance improvements for Smart Construction Edge2.

*It is recommended that the OSversion of IPAD be updated to IOS 18.2 or higher.

How to update Edge2.

１	improvment	Improved point cloud density around verification points	When verifying horizontal and vertical accuracy, the density of the point cloud around the verification point has been improved for more accurate XYZ error verification.
2	new	Storage capacity display for each project	Storage capacity can be checked for each project.
3	improvment	Show only relevant geoid codes	When a horizontal coordinate system is selected, only the associated vertical reference is displayed.
4	improvment	IMEI number display	IMEI number is now displayed in the settings screen.

7	improvment	SFM processing in GCP only （advance function）	This update is a preliminary step for future updates. In future updates (P4RTK, M3E, M300), GCP-only SFM processing will be available.　 (As of today, we recommend the use of regular PPK/RTK and GCP for SFM processing.)
8	New	GCP accuracy confirmation	If GCPs are used for SFM processing, the center accuracy of the selected GCPs can be checked after processing

Improved point cloud density around verification points

When verifying horizontal and vertical accuracy, the density of the point cloud around the Check Point has been increased to make it easier to determine the center and to more accurately check XYZ errors.

Check “ Generate point cloud for higher-precision accuracy check” before generating point cloud. Increases the point cloud density in the vicinity of the Check Points by loading them in advance. If not checked, the same point cloud is generated as before.
